View Related Objects

Some cases may have related work activities. These can be viewed on the Main panel of the summary page.

PREREQUISITES: There must be related items attached to a case. See Link to Existing Cases, Create a Related Work Order, Create a Related Service Request, and Create a Related Child Case for more information.

1. From the Main panel, click Show related objects: Cases, Workorders, Requests.

Any related work orders, service requests, linked cases display at the bottom of the panel. The Link Type in the lower-right identifies the linked case as a Parent or Child link type for PLL cases and Related for service requests, work orders, and inspections.

NOTE: Inspections can only be created from or linked to PLL cases using Respond. If an inspection has been linked to a case using Respond, that inspection is shown in the list of related work activities on the Main panel. Note that Respond 5.0 is only compatible with Cityworks 23 and newer and will need to be accessed from the Cityworks 23 site.

2. To view the related work activity, click the ID of the work activity.

This opens the related work activity where you can add, update, or view the related information.
